Job summary

PT BYD Auto Indonesia is seeking an automotive testing professional to support lab-based evaluation of vehicles and components. You will apply testing theories, operate lab equipment, plan tests and certifications, troubleshoot issues, analyze data, and document results to drive product improvements.

Requirements include 1-3 years of experience, a related degree, and Advanced English and Advanced Chinese language skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive testing experience.

• Experience defining test items, methods, and certification plans.
• Ability to analyze root causes and track corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Apply automobile testing theories and follow Indonesia regulations and lab standards.
• Operate and maintain testing instruments and lab equipment.
• Define test items, methods, and certification plans per customer requirements.
• Resolve test abnormalities and perform root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate test data and draft comprehensive reports for product improvements.
• Formulate SOPs and maintain test operation documentation.

Job description

Standards & Knowledge: Apply automobile testing theories, Southeast Asia/Indonesia test regulations, and lab verification standards.

Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various testing instruments, meters, and experimental lab equipment.

Test Planning & Certification: Define test items, methods, and certification plans based on customer requirements and lab capabilities.

Issue Handling & Troubleshooting: Resolve testing abnormalities, analyze root causes, and track corrective action progress.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Evaluate test index data and draft comprehensive experiment reports to guide product improvements.

SOPs & Documentation: Formulate execution standards, maintain test operation documents, and ensure process compliance.
