Job summary

BukuWarung is seeking an experienced Analytics Lead to own the metric layer across multiple lines of business, embed analytics into the backbone of decision making, and drive data-driven strategies in Indonesia.

You will build and govern a single source of truth, mentor a team of analysts, and partner with GTM, lending, and operations to turn data into actionable insights. Based in Jakarta, this role offers impact at scale.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years in analytics, with 3+ leading analytics teams of five or more
• Owned a certified metric layer for a multi line business, including retiring competing definitions
• Fintech, payments, marketplace or on demand at scale; comfortable with transaction level data
• Fluent in SQL and Python; hands on with a modern BI and semantic stack (dbt, Looker, Metabase or Superset)
• Experimentation depth, including designs for cases where clean randomisation is not available
• Unit economics fluency: MDR and take rate, CAC payback, LTV to CAC, contribution margin per device or per merchant
• Track record of killing manual reporting and shadow spreadsheets, with evidence
• Executive communication; translates a result into a decision and a board level narrative

Responsibilities

• Define and certify the metric layer across multiple business lines and platforms
• Own the semantic layer and data contracts with Product and Engineering
• Own metric change control and reporting to Finance, GTM and the board
• Embed analysts into the business lines and run them as one pod
• Participate in weekly GTM reviews and monthly Business-Finance-GTM forums
• Turn recurring questions into instrumentation and self-serve solutions
• Measure channel economics, incentives and cohort LTV across products
• Oversee device operations analytics, activation, dormancy and churn indicators
• Lead lending portfolio analytics and reporting as the function matures
• Design experiments and quasi-experimental methods when randomisation is limited
• Develop self-serve analytics and AI tools to retire manual reporting
