Job summary

APP Group is seeking an experienced Digital Program Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple digital initiatives within the forestry business. The role focuses on end-to-end project delivery from POC to PILOT, leveraging geospatial machinery data such as telemetry, GPS, and drones.

The candidate will develop comprehensive program plans, justify business cases, and coordinate IT, Operations, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, engineering, or computer science.
• 10+ years of proven Digital Program Manager experience or similar role.
• Experience in agricultural/forestry digitalization applications.
• Advanced data analytics with geospatial machinery data.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate multiple digital projects within APP forestry business.
• Manage projects from initial development (POC) to early-stage implementation (PILOT).
• Develop and manage comprehensive digital program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Elaborate the business case with robust analysis of business needs and benefits.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Procurement, vendors).
• Monitor and report program progress, identifying risks and issues.
• Ensure governance between Operations (regional/district) and project team.
• Support project implementation at regional/district levels.

What You Will Experience:

• Experienced Digital Program Manager to oversee and coordinate various digital projects simultaneously within APP forestry business.
• The focus is to manage projects from initial development (POC) to early stage implementation (PILOT), especially for geospatial machinery data (telemetry data, as onboard computers, GPS, drones tracking, etc).
• Develop and manage comprehensive digital program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Elaborate the business case. Before any development, execute a robust analysis to understand the real condition of the business, its needs and suitability of the solution, as well as estimate the expected benefits.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including, IT, Operations, Procurement and external vendors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor and report program progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
• Ensure good governance between Operations (regional and district level) and Project team.
• Supporting Project implementation in regional/district levels.

What is Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 10 years of proven experience as a Digital Program Manager or in a similar role (seniority and credibility to advise project teams).
• Experience in agricultural/forestry digitalization applications.
• Advanced data analytics skill, with experience of precision forestry/precision agriculture, especially geospatial machinery data.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience in consultant companies or overseas projects with multidisciplinary team is a plus.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willing to have frequent business travel to remote area
