Job summary

Sunway Trek Masindo, a Batam Kota-based travel company, is seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to develop and execute digital strategies across social media, email, SEO and PPC to grow brand awareness and customer engagement in a competitive market.

You will create engaging content, optimise campaigns, analyse performance data, collaborate with internal teams, and stay ahead of industry trends to drive growth and deliver memorable travel experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field.
• 2–3+ years in digital marketing or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC.
• Proficiency with GA, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and CMS.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Indonesian.
• Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Digital Marketing Executive to join the marketing team at Sunway Trek Masindo. This is a full-time position based in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. This position is essential to our company's mission of delivering exceptional travel and tourism experiences through effective digital channels.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms including social media, email, and search engines
• Manage and optimise company social media accounts to increase followers, engagement, and brand visibility
• Create engaging digital content including graphics, copy, and videos for various marketing channels
• Conduct keyword research and implement search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies to improve organic visibility
• Manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns and monitor performance metrics to maximise return on investment
• Analyse digital marketing data and prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights
• Collaborate with internal teams to align digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement
• Engage with customers through digital channels and respond to inquiries in a timely manner

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field
• Proven experience of at least 2-3 years working in digital marketing or a similar marketing role
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels including social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC advertising
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and content management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Indonesian
• Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas and campaigns
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Experience with graphic design or video editing tools is advantageous
• Familiarity with the travel and tourism industry is preferred but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated with a passion for digital marketing and staying updated with industry developments
