Job summary

Clubtech Global is seeking an experienced DevOps Specialist to lead our adoption of DevOps across the engineering team. You will build and mentor high-performing squads, automate and optimise our software delivery pipelines, and foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in leading DevOps teams and building scalable pipelines.
• Strong automation, scripting, and capability to drive cultural change.
• Hands‑on expertise with CI/CD, IaC, and multi‑cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the DevOps roadmap and strategy with focus on automation and reliability.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Oversee cloud infra (AWS, Azure, GCP, Digital Ocean) for performance and cost efficiency.
• Lead IaC implementation with Terraform or Ansible.
• Set, monitor, and improve SDLC metrics (deployment frequency, MTTR, lead time).
• Embed DevSecOps, including automated security testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as liaison among Development, Operations, and Security teams.
• Advocate DevOps best practices across the engineering department.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic DevOps Specialist to lead our adoption of DevOps principles across our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader who can build and mentor high-performing teams, automate and optimise our software delivery pipelines, and foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

What you will do:

• Define and champion the DevOps roadmap and strategy, focusing on automation, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Design, implement, and maintain the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Oversee the infrastructure and cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Digital Ocean), ensuring optimal performance, cost‑efficiency, and compliance.
• Drive the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Establish and monitor key metrics for the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), focusing on deployment frequency, lead time for changes, mean time to recovery (MTTR), and change failure rate.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices into the CI/CD pipeline, including automated security testing and vulnerability scanning.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the liaison between the Development, Operations, and Security teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Evangelize DevOps best practices and tools across the entire engineering department.

Who we are looking for:

• Experience in multi-regional performance optimisation and TTFB tuning (multi-regional horizontal scaling).
• Expertise in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Digital Ocean is mandatory.
• Experience with load balancing, Firewalls, DNS, CDN, SSL certificates & S3 buckets.
• Experience with clustered databases in multi-regional environments (Percona XtraDB, MySQL clusters).
• Experience with Ubuntu, Laravel, ReactJS, Proxy SQL, Cloudflare, and Fastly.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning, simulation, and execution.
