Job summary

PT. Berca Hardayaperkasa is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to manage RabbitMQ infrastructure and enable reliable, scalable messaging across services in Indonesia.

You will configure, monitor, and troubleshoot queues, integrate applications with event-driven architectures, and drive CI/CD pipelines using Docker/Kubernetes and Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. The role requires hands-on Linux and networking know-how, 3 years of relevant experience, and collaboration with backend, infra, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in DevOps, Middleware, Platform/Infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on RabbitMQ experience including queues, exchanges and routing.
• Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Manage, configure, monitor, and maintain RabbitMQ messaging infrastructure to ensure reliability and high availability

Support application integration using message queues and event-driven architecture

Troubleshoot message delivery failures, queue backlogs, connection issues, and performance bottlenecks

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure automation

Manage containerized applications and infrastructure using Docker and/or Kubernetes

Perform system monitoring, log analysis, incident handling, and root cause analysis

Collaborate with Backend Developers, Infrastructure, and Application Support teams to resolve production issues

Support capacity planning, system optimization, backup, and disaster recovery procedures

About you

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Middleware, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering (preferred)

Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, including queue management, exchanges, routing, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Good understanding of Linux administration and networking fundamentals

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration

Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent

Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous messaging architecture

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
