Job summary

Indocyber Global Teknologi, PT seeks a proactive DevOps Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments. You will ensure high availability, monitor performance, and optimize systems.

You will work with Jenkins, Kubernetes, NGINX, Grafana/Prometheus, and IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible, supporting collaboration across developers, QA, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years hands-on DevOps, SysAdmin, or Infra Engineering experience.
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes knowledge (deployments, services, ingress, config maps, PVs).
• Proficient in Jenkins pipeline development and CD practices.
• Hands-on with NGINX (reverse proxy, load balancing, security headers).
• Experience with Grafana dashboards and metrics tools (Prometheus/ELK).
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation.
• Advanced Linux knowledge (Ubuntu/RHEL/CentOS) and cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and automating our CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized application deployments, and ensuring high availability and system reliability through effective monitoring and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and other automation tools to streamline release processes.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage, deploy, and scale microservices architecture on Kubernetes clusters; maintain Helm charts and ensure container runtime security and efficiency.
• Web Server & Proxy Management: Configure, tune, and optimize NGINX web servers and reverse proxies for traffic management, load balancing, SSL termination, and security enforcement.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement, maintain, and expand monitoring, logging, and alerting dashboards using Grafana, Prometheus, or similar observability stacks to ensure peak performance and minimal downtime.
• Infrastructure Management: Provision, automate, and configure scalable cloud/on-premise infrastructure following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform or Ansible).
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Participate in incident resolution, root-cause analysis (RCA), and continuous system hardening to prevent performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with software developers, QA teams, and system engineers to streamline application releases and cultivate a DevOps mindset across teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline is strictly required.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven hands-on experience in a DevOps, SysAdmin, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress controllers, config maps, persistent volumes).
• CI/CD Tools: Proficient in Jenkins pipeline development (Jenkinsfile, Groovy scripting) and continuous deployment practices.
• Web Server Administration: Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining NGINX (reverse proxy, load balancing, caching, security headers).
• Monitoring & Alerting: Solid experience setting up and managing Grafana dashboards and metrics collection tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in Bash/Shell, Python, or Go for operational task automation.
• Operating Systems: Advanced knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) including networking, storage, and security fundamentals.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
