Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd in Indonesia is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design Pressure Vessels, STHE, and Storage Tanks in accordance with ASME VIII and client specifications. You will prepare GA drawings and perform engineering calculations to support fabrication activities.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of PV design experience, proficiency with PV Elite or Compress, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Pressure Vessel Design Engineering.
• Proficient in PV Elite and/or Compress.
• Ability to perform manual design calculations.
• Strong knowledge of ASME VIII Div.1 & Div.2, ASME II, TEMA.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• FEA knowledge is a plus.

• Prepare engineering calculations and General Arrangement (GA) drawings to support fabrication activities.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with project requirements, industry standards, and quality expectations.
• Support project execution by providing technical solutions and engineering assistance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proficient in Pressure Vessel design software such as PV Elite and/or Compress.
• Able to perform manual engineering calculations.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div.1 & Div.2, ASME Section II, TEMA, and relevant engineering practices.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) knowledge will be an advantage.
