Job summary

You will maintain clean, organized kitchen sections, follow strict food safety practices, monitor stock, and assist in guiding junior staff during service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in kitchen operations (hot kitchen preferred).
• Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standard recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to senior kitchen staff.
• Support in training and guiding junior kitchen staff or commis.
