Job summary

SC Johnson in Jakarta is seeking a Lead Cluster Market Demand Planner to develop a demand forecast using sales inputs, promotions, distribution, and history. You will align supply chain goals with commercial plans and serve as the conduit between commercial teams and supply chain planning across the cluster and country.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–4 years in supply chain, preferably in FMCG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any major.
• 3–4 years of Supply Chain experience, preferably FMCG Sales/Trade Marketing/Customer Marketing.
• Familiar with demand planning systems or tools (SAP APO DP, or equivalent).
• Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Use and maintain current demand planning systems to create the best forecast using established processes.
• Collect and analyze past/future demand inputs from sales and marketing and calculate their impacts on demand.
• Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
• Work with cross functional partners on projects such as new product launches, discontinuations, and transitions to evaluate assumptions.
• Collaborate with the regional demand hub to maintain cleansed history in APO and ensure a 12-18 month rolling forecast.
• Ensure demand forecast is shared with internal customers and supply chain partners with documented assumptions and forecast confidence.
• Influence and collaborate with marketing, sales, and finance to address input gaps as identified by forecast error/bias review.
• Measure, analyze, and communicate key process metrics and monitor adherence to key performance indicators, while driving continuous improvement.
