Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an experienced MPD Field Supervisor to oversee safe, efficient managed pressure drilling operations for deepwater projects. The role involves field supervision, technical guidance, and ensuring equipment readiness, with optional workshop support at the Narogong facility in Indonesia.

You will coordinate with clients and drilling contractors, manage risk assessments, and maintain strict HSE standards, reporting to the MPD Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in oil and gas.
• Minimum 5 years MPD in deepwater.
• Experience supervising MPD field ops.
• Willingness to work 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off; Narogong, Indonesia.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements and client standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day MPD operations at field/rig site.
• Ensure MPD equipment is installed, tested, and maintained per procedures.
• Provide technical leadership to MPD field personnel.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and Weatherford teams for project execution.
• Participate in pre-job planning and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and SOPs.
• Support workshop activities at Narogong facility as needed.
• Ensure accurate daily reports and documentation.
