Job summary

Weatherford Indonesia seeks a seasoned MPD Field Specialist to supervise and support safe, efficient MPD operations for deepwater drilling projects. This is primarily field-based with occasional Narogong workshop duties and a four-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rotation.

You will provide technical guidance to field personnel, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain compliance with HSE standards and procedures while coordinating with clients, drilling contractors, and Weatherford teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years in oil and gas industry.
• At least 5 years MPD experience in deepwater projects.
• Experience supervising MPD field operations.
• Willing to work 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off in Narogong, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day MPD operations at field or rig site.
• Ensure MPD equipment is installed, tested, and maintained per procedures.
• Provide technical leadership to field personnel for safe operations.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with contractors, client reps, and Weatherford teams.
• Participate in pre-job planning, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and client standards.
• Support Narogong workshop activities, including inspection and pre-mobilization readiness.
• Complete daily reports, checklists, and handovers.
