Job summary

GoPay Data Science internship is open to recent graduates to build models that grow GoPay’s customer base and transactions. You will work closely with business, product and engineering teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with our robust data infrastructure.

You will prototype data science solutions, analyze big data, and own end-to-end deployment in collaboration with engineers. Strong foundation in statistics and ML, plus Python/R, is essential.

Qualifications

• Fresh Graduates from computer science, mathematics, or statistics (final semester students preferred).
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of Statistics/ML fundamentals and Python, R experience.
• Communication skills to engage with business stakeholders and explain results.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation.
• Experience in recommender systems or related ranking methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data science solutions.
• Rapidly prototype models and contribute to product discussions.
• Analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Own end-to-end solutioning from problem framing to deployment with engineers.
• Participate in internal and external conferences and workshops.
