Job summary

GoTo Group, through its GoPay unit, is seeking a data scientist intern to develop models that grow customer base and transaction volume. You will collaborate with business, product and engineering stakeholders to tackle challenging problems in payments, leveraging a robust data infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

You will work within the GoPay Data Science team, which focuses on ML components used in GoPay's systems.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates in computer science, mathematics, or statistics; final semester considered.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of statistics and ML fundamentals with Python/R experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to build data science solutions that grow GoPay’s customer base and transactions.
• Rapidly prototype data science solutions and contribute to product discussions.
• Analyze large-scale data and generate actionable insights.
• Own end-to-end solutioning from problem formulation to deployment with engineers.
• Participate in internal and external conferences and workshops.
