Job summary

Paramadina in Jakarta is seeking fresh graduates or final-year students to join a data science team. You will build solutions to engage customers and grow GoPay transactions, prototyping rapidly and interfacing with product and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities include analyzing large data sets, generating insights, and owning end-to-end deployment. Strong Python/R skills and solid ML foundations are expected.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or final semester students in computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals with Python and R.
• Effective communication to engage with business stakeholders and convey results.
• Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
• Experience in recommender systems, ranking, multi-armed bandits, search and discovery is a plus.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and business analysts to build data science solutions that enhance customer engagement and grow GoPay’s customer base and transactions
• Rapidly prototype data science solutions and participate in product and feature discussions
• Analyze large volumes of data and generate actionable insights
• Own end-to-end solution development, from formulating technical problems to deployment alongside engineers
• Participate in internal and external conferences and workshops
