Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports as needed by stakeholders.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct system problems.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize academic, financial, and human resource information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Improve data quality across educational and business systems.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations in consultation with stakeholders and advise and support as needed.
• Identify and recommend new ways to save time and money by streamlining business processes.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Manager/Analyst (preferably in a school environment)
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation
• Familiarity with school management information systems
• Proficient in data visualization and reporting
• Solid understanding of statistics and analytical tools
• Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail and accuracy
• Skilled in querying, report writing, and data presentation
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and develop dashboards/reports
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics (plus programming/cloud is a bonus)
