Job summary

Sekolah Pelita Harapan is seeking a Data Manager/Analyst to develop and maintain data systems across its schools. The role emphasizes data quality, reporting, and dashboards to support academics, finance, and HR. Experience in an educational setting is preferred.

The organization operates five international Christian K-12 campuses near Jakarta, delivering Cambridge and IB curricula to over 2,100 students. Strong collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Manager/Analyst (preferably in a school environment).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation.
• Familiarity with school management information systems.
• Proficient in data visualization and reporting.
• Solid understanding of statistics and analytical tools.
• Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Skilled in querying, report writing, and data presentation.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and develop dashboards/reports.
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics (plus programming/cloud is a bonus).
• High integrity, good communication, teamwork, confidentiality, and a positive, flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports as needed by stakeholders.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct system problems.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize academic, financial, and human resource information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Improve data quality across educational and business systems.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations in consultation with stakeholders and advise and support as needed.
• Identify and recommend new ways to save time and money by streamlining business processes.
