Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience in Data Centre operations, IT infrastructure maintenance, or Telecommunications infrastructure.
• Substantial hands‑on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical enterprise servers, switches, storage arrays, racks, and structured cabling.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in diagnosing server hardware issues involving RAID controllers, hot‑swap hard drives, DIMMs, NICs, and redundant PSUs.
• In‑depth knowledge of optical fiber and copper cabling standards, patch panels, optical attenuation, and transceiver optics including SFP, SFP+, and QSFP form factors.
• Solid working familiarity with remote server administration tools including HPE iLO, Dell iDRAC, IPMI platforms, and KVM switches.
• Foundational understanding of core networking protocols and configurations including TCP/IP, VLANs, trunking protocols, LACP bonding, and routing fundamentals.
• Basic operational proficiency with Linux operating systems and command‑line system status utilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct, hands‑on installation, racking, stacking, cabling, and labeling of enterprise servers, network switches, and storage arrays inside the data center.
• Execute physical structured cabling installations, patch panel cross‑connections, and cable management utilizing fiber optics, copper cables, and SFP/QSFP transceivers.
• Diagnose and resolve server hardware component faults, including disk drive failures, RAID arrays, system memory (RAM), network interface cards (NICs), and power supplies (PSUs).
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot out‑of‑band remote server management systems utilizing HPE iLO, Dell iDRAC, IPMI, and networked KVM consoles.
• Conduct fundamental network diagnostics, troubleshooting TCP/IP communication, VLAN tagging, port trunking, LACP link aggregation, and basic routing issues.

As the Data Centre Infrastructure Support Engineer with Arbeit Group onsite in Jatiluhur, Purwakarta, you will take direct responsibility for the physical integrity, operational maintenance, and proactive troubleshooting of enterprise data center hardware ecosystems. Operating inside white‑space environments, you will perform day‑to‑day installation, rack layout, structured copper and optical fiber cabling, cable dressing, patch panel cross‑connects, and equipment decommissioning across high‑density server, storage, and networking cabinets.

Your operational responsibilities encompass granular hardware diagnostics, managing RAID array configurations, performing hot‑swaps of degraded hard drives, replacing power supply units (PSUs), testing server memory modules (RAM), network interface cards (NICs), and provisioning server out‑of‑band management interfaces via iLO, iDRAC, and IPMI. Furthermore, you will diagnose fundamental layer‑2 and layer‑3 networking connectivity, manage VLAN tagging, LACP trunking, and basic Linux system checks to facilitate immediate incident recovery. Working in close collaboration with external equipment vendors, facilities engineers, and remote system administration teams, you will manage RMA replacements, conduct preventive infrastructure audits, and participate in emergency on‑call operational escalations to ensure flawless service availability.
