Wesco is seeking a Technician - Data Center to perform setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers and network devices within a data center environment. Responsibilities include hardware diagnostics, vendor engagement, and coordinating break-fix activities while maintaining asset records and documentation.

The role requires minimum 2 years in an enterprise data center, CCNA/CCNP preferences, and willingness to travel up to 25% with a valid driver's license.

Formación

• High school degree or equivalent; IT-related bachelor's preferred.
• CCNA and CCNP preferred.
• 2 years in an enterprise Data Center environment with best-practice knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Perform weekly sweeps of server and storage equipment; collect and analyze diagnostic data.
• Diagnose connectivity issues and perform basic network troubleshooting.
• Engage vendor support (HPE, Dell, IX) by opening cases and tracking fixes.
• Coordinate with data center ops for break-and-fix logistics and vendor escorting.
