Wesco is seeking a Technician - Data Center to perform setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of servers and network devices in a data center environment. The role requires 2 years in an enterprise Data Center, CCNA/CCNP preferred, fluent English, and ability to travel up to 25%.

You will collaborate with operations to manage breaks, fixes and RMAs, and you will document configurations and inventory to ensure uptime.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an enterprise Data Center environment with strong knowledge of data center best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot server hardware and network connectivity issues.
• Experience with Ethernet RJ45 copper uplinks and LC/MPO fiber links.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 0–25%.

Responsabilités

• Perform server, storage and network devices setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose connectivity issues and collect diagnostic data for vendors.
• Engage vendor support and follow up on hardware fixes.
• Coordinate with operations for break-and-fix and RMAs.
• Update documentation and manage inventory records.
• Monitor capacity for space, power, cooling, and patch panels.
• Follow incident and change management processes.
• Travel between sites as needed.
