Job summary

Glints is seeking an On-Site Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to support day-to-day data center operations in Cikarang, Indonesia. The role focuses on maintaining high-density server clusters, leading hardware maintenance, and providing technical guidance to junior technicians.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data center operations with experience in enterprise hardware and Linux/Windows environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data center operations or hardware maintenance.
• Experience with enterprise servers (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro, Inspur, H3C).
• Linux and Windows Server knowledge.
• Networking fundamentals and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with ticketing, monitoring, and DCIM tools.
• Excellent documentation and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• 24/7 Cluster Operations: Support reliable 24/7 operation and maintenance across server clusters and data center IT infrastructure.
• Hardware & Deployment Execution: Perform server racking, cabling, hardware replacements, firmware upgrades, diagnostic checks, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting & Escalation: Diagnose and resolve server, storage, network, OS, and physical connectivity issues, escalating complex incidents to OEMs or engineering teams.
• Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor cluster alarms, health metrics, and capacity utilization using DCIM, BMS, and ticketing systems.
• Team Guidance: Guide and mentor junior technicians during operational shifts, maintenance windows, and emergency incident responses.
• Asset & Documentation Control: Maintain accurate inventory tracking for spare parts, assets, incident tickets, and SOPs/MOPs/EOPs.
• Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with OEMs, logistics providers, network teams, and customers to resolve hardware and operational bottlenecks.
