Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer (Data Center) to lead the design, validation, and delivery of advanced cooling systems for large-scale facilities in South Jakarta. You will perform heat load calculations, equipment selection, and coordinate with electrical, BMS, and construction teams to ensure reliable, energy-efficient operation.

The role requires a strong background in mission-critical cooling, 5+ years in HVAC/MEP for data centers, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC system design and thermal engineering.
• Proven experience leading engineering activities within data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive HVAC and mechanical cooling solutions for large-scale data centers, including heat load calculations and BOQ.
• Develop and optimize cooling system designs (CHW, DX, CRAH/CRAC, cooling towers, piping, AHU/air handling systems).
• Perform thermal analysis and evaluate performance for efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate with electrical, BMS, and other facility components; support site deployment and commissioning.
