Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer (Data Center) based in Indonesia to design and validate advanced cooling systems for large-scale facilities. You will oversee end-to-end engineering, from heat load calculations and airflow analysis to equipment selection and field support, ensuring reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC system design and data center projects.
• Experience leading engineering activities within data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience designing or delivering large-scale data center cooling systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive HVAC and mechanical cooling solutions for large-scale data center facilities.
• Develop and optimize cooling system designs including chilled water, DX, CRAH/CRAC, cooling towers, pumps, and piping networks.
• Perform thermal analysis and evaluate cooling system performance for efficiency and reliability.
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and client coordination sessions.
• Support construction, commissioning, and on-site issue resolution to ensure project success.
• Prepare engineering documentation and technical calculations with quality and safety in mind.
