PT Biko Indonesia in Jakarta Pusat is seeking a Daily Worker - Pastry Helper to join our bakery team. This part-time role supports pastry chefs with assembly, decorating and kitchen duties, with on-the-job training provided.

You will work under supervision to maintain hygiene, follow recipes, and assist with inventory and daily production in a busy pastry environment. This position offers flexible hours and a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided on the job.
• Willingness to learn and develop pastry/baking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items.
• Reliability and punctuality, especially for part-time scheduling.
• Good personal hygiene and understanding of food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assisting pastry chefs and bakers with the preparation and assembly of pastries, cakes and baked goods
• Measuring and mixing ingredients according to established recipes and instructions
• Preparing work stations and gathering necessary tools and equipment for daily production
• Decorating pastries and baked items under supervision and guidance
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the pastry kitchen and production areas
• Transporting and organising finished products for storage or display
• Supporting inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and reporting shortages
• Following all food safety and health regulations consistently
• Assisting with general kitchen duties and tasks as assigned by senior pastry staff

About the role

PT Biko Indonesia is seeking a Daily Worker - Pastry Helper to join our baking and pastry team in Jakarta Pusat. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst contributing to the production of high-quality pastries and baked goods. As a Pastry Helper, you will play an essential role in supporting our pastry chefs and bakers, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining the excellence our customers expect from PT Biko Indonesia.

Key responsibilities
