Job summary

Datacomm is seeking a Security Operations professional to perform operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the internal security infrastructure and MSSP customers. The role involves managing Firewalls, WAF, VPN, DLP, and Anti-DDoS, handling incidents, and providing on-call support to ensure services run reliably.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year in Security Operations or related fields, strong network security understanding, and a proven ability to document procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, Network Security, or Cybersecurity Infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, firewall).
• Experience in managing security infrastructure such as Firewalls, WAF, VPN, DLP, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDoS.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Datacomm’s security infrastructure and MSSP customers.
• Manage and monitor security devices and services (Firewalls, WAF, VPN, DLP, Anti-DDoS).
• Handle incidents and operational issues related to customers’ security infrastructure services.
• Provide on-call standby support outside office hours for critical incidents.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, patching, health checks, and performance monitoring.
• Assist deployment, migration, and integration of security solutions based on customer needs.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Generate and deliver MSSP operational service reports related to firewalls and other security infrastructure.
• Support fulfillment of operational SLAs to keep security services stable and optimal.

Requirement

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, Network Security, or Cybersecurity Infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of network security concepts, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and network troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in managing security infrastructure such as Firewalls, WAF, VPN, DLP, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDoS, or other security appliances.
• Strong troubleshooting skills regarding operational issues and security infrastructure.
• Experience in handling operational support and incident management within production or customer environments.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Willingness to work in shifts and be available for standby on-call to support operational needs and critical incidents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to generate and present technical or operational reports to customers and management is a strong plus.
• Experience in cloud security, MSSP operations, or cloud infrastructure is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, Security+, ISC2 CC, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
