Job summary

Ajaib Group in Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented Crypto Business Operations professional to own liquidity, trading execution, and risk management across our exchange. You will maintain a competitive market environment, optimize liquidity, and manage PnL across trading activities.

You will handle four core areas: liquidity improvement, USDT/IDR operations, FX tracking, and special projects that enhance business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Several years of experience in crypto, FX, market making, or trading operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Solid understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and liquidity mechanics.
• Proficiency in Excel; SQL and Python are strong advantages.

Responsibilities

• Liquidity Improvement: maintain competitive spreads, depth, and execution quality.
• USDT/IDR Operations: manage bid–ask pricing and day-to-day quoting.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Crypto Business Operations to own liquidity, and trading execution across our exchange. You will maintain a competitive market environment, optimize liquidity, and manage risk and PnL across trading activities. This role owns four core areas: liquidity improvement, USDT/IDR operations, FX tracking, and special projects that improve how the business and its operations run.

Key Responsibilities

Liquidity Improvement

• Maintain competitive spreads, strong market depth, and reliable execution quality on the exchange
• Collaborate with external market makers and liquidity providers to optimize liquidity
• Monitor for trading anomalies, market disruptions, and liquidity risks, escalating when necessary

USDT/IDR Operations

• Ensure our USDT/IDR bid–ask pricing stays competitive against the broader market
• Run day-to-day quoting and inventory operations on the pair, keeping pricing responsive to market conditions
• Track and analyze PnL performance, identifying inefficiencies and areas for optimization

FX Tracking

• Manage and monitor FX exposure and hedging activities to control risk
• Track FX movements and their impact on pricing, positions, and PnL, and report on exposure regularly

Special Projects

• Initiate, lead, and support projects that improve business performance and operational efficiency
• Turn recurring manual work into repeatable processes, dashboards, and automated reporting
• Partner with operations, marketing, business development, product, treasury, and risk teams to scope, deliver, and measure improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field

• Several years of experience in crypto, FX, market making, or trading operations, with a track record of owning a desk, product, or process end-to-end
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and with great attention to detail
• Solid understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and liquidity mechanics
• Proficiency in Excel; SQL and Python are strong advantages
