Job summary

PT Hiro Group Indonesia is seeking a Cost Control Staff to join our Production, Planning & Scheduling team in Tangerang, Banten, at Era Prima Daan Mogot warehouses in Batu Ceper. This contract role focuses on monitoring, analysing and controlling production costs to keep operations efficient and profitable.

You will collaborate with production, procurement and finance to identify cost-saving opportunities, maintain budgets, and support cost-control procedures across manufacturing activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in cost control, cost accounting or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Excel) and cost control software systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning and cost accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track production costs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to identify variances against budgeted figures.
• Analyse cost data and prepare detailed reports highlighting cost overruns, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to gather accurate cost information and maintain updated cost records.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Maintain and update cost control databases and spreadsheets with relevant production and financial data.
• Support the reconciliation of actual costs against forecasted budgets.
• Prepare cost analysis reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of cost control procedures and policies.
• Liaise with finance, production planning and scheduling teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Monitor material wastage, labour costs and overhead expenses to optimise resource utilisation.

About the role

PT Hiro Group Indonesia is seeking a Cost Control Staff to join our Production, Planning & Scheduling department. This is a contract position based in Tangerang, Banten ,specifically at the Era Prima Daan Mogot warehouses in Batu Ceper. In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring, analysing and controlling production costs to ensure our manufacturing operations remain efficient and profitable. You will work closely with production teams, procurement, and finance departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain strict budget adherence across all manufacturing activities.

What we're looking for

Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) is highly desirable

Knowledge of Indonesian manufacturing industry practices and local cost structures is advantageous
