Job summary

PT Argha Karya Prima Industry Tbk in Indonesia is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage production costing, including standard costs, cost allocation, and manufacturing costs across materials, labor, and overhead.

You will prepare and analyze COGM, COGS, inventory, and cost reports; monitor variances and opportunities to improve cost efficiency; and collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Finance to support sound business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least 2 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing costing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP/accounting systems experience is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight reporting deadlines and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor production costing including standard cost and cost allocation.
• Prepare and analyze HPP, COGM, COGS, inventory, and budgets.
• Analyze cost variances and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.

This is a Cost Accountant position responsible for managing and monitoring production costing, including standard cost, cost allocation, and manufacturing costs (materials, labor, and overhead).

Key responsibilities

Manage and monitor production costing, including standard cost, cost allocation, and manufacturing costs (materials, labor, and overhead)

Prepare and analyze HPP, COGM, COGS, Inventory, production value, cost reports, budgets, and forecasts accurately and within reporting timelines

Analyze cost variances and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and optimize manufacturing processes

Monitor inventory movements and production administration to ensure accurate costing and effective processes

Prepare and monitor Import Advance and export-related costing & documentation to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Finance to ensure accurate cost data, improve cost efficiency, and support business decision-making

About you

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cost Accountant/Cost Accounting Officer, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of Cost Accounting, Inventory, and manufacturing costing processes

Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/Accounting systems is an advantage

Able to work accurately under reporting deadlines

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
