Job summary

PT Sahabat Sentra Asia is seeking a Corporate Planning Specialist to support management by developing annual and periodic business plans, analyzing performance, and delivering strategic recommendations aimed at increasing sales and profitability across heavy equipment, agricultural spare parts, and related sectors.

The successful candidate will gather and validate data from multiple divisions, build dashboards, forecast demand and budgets, and present clear management reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1st degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics or related field.
• At least 3 years in Corporate Planning, Business Planning, Business Analyst, Sales Planning, Financial Planning & Analysis, or similar roles.
• Experience in companies selling/distributing spare parts for agricultural/heavy equipment or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes for spare parts, including inventory, pricing, and margins.
• Ability to read and analyze P&L statements, budgets, cash flow and operational data.
• Advanced Excel proficiency including PivotTables, lookups and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual and periodic work plans and company targets.

• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual performance reports for management.
• Analyze spare parts inventory turnover and identify fast/slow/dead stock.
• Conduct price, margin and market trend analyses and explore business development potential.

• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance and operations for data validation.
• Prepare dashboards and strategic recommendations for Directors.

Corporate Planning Specialist responsible for assisting management in developing business planning, analyzing company performance, and providing strategic recommendations to increase sales and profitability. This role requires business analysis capabilities and experience in the agricultural equipment and/or heavy equipment spare parts sales industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual and periodic work plans and company targets
• Compare performance realization against targets or budgets and identify causes of variance
• Prepare company performance reports on weekly, monthly, and annual basis for management needs
• Analyze spare parts inventory turnover, including fast-moving, slow-moving, and dead stock
• Conduct price analysis, margin analysis, market trends, competitor activities, and business development potential
• Develop sales projections, inventory requirements, and financial projections based on historical data and market conditions
• Monitor KPI achievement for each division and coordinate follow-up actions on unmet targets
• Assist in developing business plans, feasibility studies, and assessments for branch, product, or market expansion
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance, and operational divisions for data provision and validation
• Prepare presentation materials, dashboards, and strategic recommendations for Directors or management

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in Corporate Planning, Business Planning, Business Analyst, Sales Planning, Financial Planning & Analysis, or similar positions
• Experience in companies selling/distributing spare parts for agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, commercial automotive, industrial machinery, or similar fields
• Understanding of sales and distribution business processes for spare parts, including inventory, purchasing, pricing, margin, and sales performance
• Able to read and analyze profit and loss statements, budgets, cash flow, and operational data
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including PivotTable, lookup, logical functions, data visualization, and data processing
• Able to create reports and management presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Able to convert data into actionable business insights and recommendations
• Good communication and cross-divisional coordination capabilities
