Ku Creatives Unlimited in Jakarta is seeking a junior copywriter to support direct-response campaigns. You will write and refine ad copy from briefs, ensuring alignment with client brand voices and campaign objectives.

You will collaborate with PMs and video editors, learn from senior copywriters, and apply performance data to improve messaging. This role fits students or recent graduates with a portfolio in writing.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recent graduate; a background in language, literature, journalism, marketing, or communications is a plus.
• Internships, freelance work, or personal projects welcome; no paid ad experience required.
• Strong English writing for US/UK audiences.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia with good writing.
• Portfolio of writing samples required.
• Curious, eager to learn, able to handle multiple revision rounds.
• Working Hours: 3 PM - 12 AM.

• Write and refine ad copy and scripts for multi-format campaigns, with feedback along the way.
• Learn and apply each client's brand voice so the language stays consistent across their campaigns.
• Work with PMs and Video Editors so your copy fits the campaign objectives.
• Learn to read performance data (Hold Rate, Thumbstop Rate) and use it to improve your writing.
• Handle revision requests and suggest alternative messaging, with support from the team.
• Bring ad ideas inspired by current social media trends and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Education: Currently studying or recently graduated (Bachelor's degree). A background in language, literature, journalism, marketing, or communications is a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience is a plus, such as internships, freelance work, or personal projects. No need for paid ad experience.
• Writing skills: Strong English writing, ideally for US/UK audiences. Interest in social media content, UGC, and digital ads.
• Languages: Good written English and active Bahasa Indonesia.
• Portfolio: Send us writing samples. We care more about your portfolio than your formal education path.
• Mindset: Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable with repeated rounds of revisions.
