Job summary

Ku Creatives, based in Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced copywriter to lead direct-response copy for client accounts. You will own messaging strategy, write for multi-format campaigns, and maintain a consistent brand voice across all campaigns.

The role requires 3–4 years of copywriting experience, strong US/UK English, and comfort with revisions. You will collaborate with PMs and editors in a fast-paced AI-driven production floor.

• Strong English copywriting for US/UK market ads; familiarity with social media formats.

• Own the direct-response copywriting strategy and execution for each client account, not just follow a brief someone hands you.
• Write and refine copy for complex, multi-format campaigns, making your own creative calls on messaging approach.
• Be the team's go-to for language consistency and brand voice across every campaign for a client.
• Partner with PMs and Video Editors so the messaging strategy lines up with campaign objectives, beyond just writing the text.
• Read the performance data (Hold Rate, Thumbstop Rate) and use it to sharpen your writing.
• Guide Video Editors and Caption Checkers on how to interpret the brief from a messaging and copy angle.
• Handle tricky revisions and step in when a client request is hard to execute, offering smart alternative messaging.
• Bring clients fresh ad ideas based on industry best practices and current social media trends.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree. A background in language, literature, journalism, marketing, or communications is a plus.
• Experience: 3 to 4 years as a copywriter, with proof of ad copy you've written that clients or brands have used as paid ad assets.
• Writing skills: Strong English copywriting for US/UK market ads. Familiar with social media content formats and the style of UGC and digital ads in the US/UK.
• Languages: Advanced written English for US/UK audiences, and active Bahasa Indonesia.
• Portfolio: We care more about your portfolio than your formal education path.
• Mindset: Comfortable with repeated rounds of revisions.
• Working Hours: Middle Shift (3 PM - 12 AM)
