About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cook Helper to join our team at Holycow Steakhouse By Chef Afit Batam' in Batam Riau Islands. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our kitchen operations and contributing to the exceptional dining experience we provide our customers.

What you'll be doing

Assisting our talented chefs in food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment

Ensuring all food handling and storage procedures are followed in accordance with health and safety regulations

Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed

Providing general support to the kitchen team as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Cook Helper or in a similar kitchen support role, preferably within the hospitality industry

A passion for food and a keen interest in learning culinary skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
