We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook / Chef to join a private family residence in Bali.

This is a household position, not a restaurant or hotel role. We are looking for someone who enjoys preparing fresh, simple and delicious meals for a family and can comfortably manage the kitchen independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals for the family
• Cook a variety of Indonesian and Western dishes
• Prepare simple, healthy and well-balanced meals
• Occasionally prepare meals when family guests are staying
• Plan meals and communicate grocery requirements
• Check kitchen ingredients and stock
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Store food correctly and maintain good hygiene standards
• Be flexible with reasonable changes in meal times or family requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cook, chef or in a similar household role
• Able to cook both Indonesian and basic Western food
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food handling
• Clean, organized and responsible
• Honest, reliable and able to work independently
• Able to communicate and coordinate well with other household staff
• Basic English is an advantage
