KPC invites qualified engineers to join the CPHD team as an Engineer – Control System. You will work in East Kalimantan, focusing on reliability and safety of power generation assets and control systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with industrial automation, SCADA, and DCS systems, and a strong commitment to HSES standards. Fixed-term contract with opportunities to contribute to major modification projects.

Formación

• Bachelor or D4 in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control engineering.
• 3+ years in electrical engineering, control systems or industrial automation.
• Experience in compressor and dryer maintenance, control valve maintenance, DCS maintenance, CMMS, and PLC maintenance.
• Knowledge of basical/advanced control and instrumentation systems; SCADA WinCC maintenance and programming.
• Familiar with ISA, IEC, IEEE, AS, PUll electrical installation codes; Sertifikat Kompetensi Ketenagalistrikan preferred.
• Power plant experience and PLC/DCS vendor training preferred.
• Strong Bahasa Indonesia and English communication skills; problem solving, planning and teamwork.
• Commitment to KPC HSE standards and cost optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare technical evaluations and cost estimates for facility modifications and projects.
• Develop control system and instrumentation maintenance protocols for diesel gensets and coal-fired power plants.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley PLCs, MaxDNA DCS, and WinCC SCADA systems.
• Perform FMEA and RCA to drive proactive maintenance schedules.
• Draft designs, specifications and budgets for O&M initiatives managed by Operations and Maintenance.
• Identify bottlenecks to improve availability, reliability, maintainability and safety while reducing costs and environmental impact.
• Prepare CEAs for instrumentation and control projects.
• Oversee external contractors to meet milestones within budget and in line with HSE guidelines.
