Job summary

Proficiency in Chinese is mandatory, with hands-on experience in Siemens TIA Portal and Beckhoff TwinCAT. Expect collaboration with suppliers to optimize processes and drive efficiency across the line.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience managing automation integration projects.
• Fluent in Chinese is a must.
• Extensive PLC programming, motion control and industrial networks knowledge.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT and drive tech.
• Knowledge of Profinet, EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP.
• Design, integration and troubleshooting of networked automation systems.

Experienced Freelance Controls & Automation Engineer specializing in industrial automation, machine control systems, drive technology, and process optimization. Proven expertise in PLC programming, motion control, industrial communication networks, machine safety, and troubleshooting within highly automated production environments. Strong track record of improving machine performance, reducing cycle times, optimizing positioning accuracy, and ensuring reliable operation through systematic diagnostics and continuous technical improvements.

• Systematic fault finding in control cabinets using measurement equipment such as multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Efficient identification and resolution of electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.

Cycle Time Optimization

• Fine-tuning of control algorithms, motion profiles, and process parameters to maximize throughput while minimizing wear and downtime.
