Job summary

Giesecke & Devrient GmbH is seeking a Control and Automation Engineer on a freelancer basis for a 2-month engagement in Karawang and Gresik, Indonesia. You will lead PLC programming, automation improvements and machine safety tasks in a highly automated production environment.

Proficiency in Chinese is mandatory, with hands-on experience in Siemens TIA Portal and Beckhoff TwinCAT. Expect collaboration with suppliers to optimize processes and drive efficiency across the line.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience managing automation integration projects.
• Fluent in Chinese is a must.
• Extensive PLC programming, motion control and industrial networks knowledge.
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT and drive tech.
• Knowledge of Profinet, EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP.
• Design, integration and troubleshooting of networked automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyses current automation issues and collaborates with suppliers to solve them.
• Analyses current processes and throughput to improve solutions.
• 3 years of experience managing integrating automation projects.
• Apply IEC 13849-based safety concepts and drive technology.
