The role requires extensive experience in mining or heavy industry contracts, strong knowledge of FIDIC, and fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English. You will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to manage risks and achieve compliant, favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law or engineering.
• 15+ years in commercial contract management, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience managing complex construction, EPC/EPCM, and supply contracts.
• Knowledge of contract law and Indonesian mining regulations.
• Experience in tender management, contract negotiation, and contractor performance.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contract frameworks.
• Experience in risk management, claims management, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop contractor pre-qualification frameworks and manage end-to-end tender processes.
• Draft, negotiate, and finalize complex construction and supply agreements, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budget limits, and risk objectives.
• Lead detailed commercial bid evaluations, contract awards and proactively resolve contractual disputes.
• Ensure all agreements conform to mining regulations, labor standards, and health/safety codes.
• Prepare reports on contract status and contractor performance. Act as the point of contact for internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

The role leads tender and negotiation processes, manages contractor engagement and performance, contract outcomes, and delivers commercial value while ensuring compliance with supply chain standards and governance requirements. The position applies sound commercial judgement and works collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage risks and achieve sustainable contracting outcomes.

• Experience in tender management, contract negotiation, and contractor performance management.
• Strong understanding of industry-standard contract frameworks such as FIDIC.
