Aurora Talent is seeking a Contract Manager for a leading international energy company in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will report to the Project Manager and oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of large EPCIC projects, ensuring contractors adhere to agreed terms and company standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining contract records, assessing change requests, negotiating contractor claims, and supporting forecasting, cost tracking and risk analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• 14+ years of contract management experience.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication, leadership and strategic planning ability.
• Willing to travel to site and project locations as required.

Responsabilités

• Act as the main contractual point of contact for the project package with the Package Project Manager.
• Maintain contract records, including correspondence log and changes register.
• Assess change requests and present recommendations for approval.
• Lead assessment, negotiation and resolution of contractor claims; liaise with Legal on mediation, arbitration or litigation.
• Provide commercial input to Project Controls for forecasting, cost tracking and schedule risk analysis.
• Contribute to risk workshops to spot contractual exposure early and ensure obligations pass down to subcontractors.
• Manage preparation and negotiation of final accounts, performance guarantees and insurance arrangements.
• Uphold anti-bribery and counterparty screening standards in line with policy and lender expectations.
• Coach project teams on contract management and share lessons learned across projects.

We are actively supporting a leading international energy company with a diversified portfolio across in oil & gas, LNG, power plant and energy, who is looking for a Contract Manager to join their growing team in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This role would be reporting to the Project Manager, overseeing the commercial and contractual side of large-scale EPCIC projects for the end user, and making sure contractors follow agreed terms and the company's standards.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Act as the main contractual point of contact for the project package, working alongside the Package Project Manager.
• Maintain contract records, including the correspondence log and a register of changes, claims and amendments.
• Assess change requests with the project team and present recommendations to management for approval.
• Lead the assessment, negotiation and resolution of contractor claims, and work with Legal team on mediation, arbitration or litigation where needed.
• Provide commercial and contractual input to Project Controls to support forecasting, cost tracking and schedule risk analysis.
• Contribute to internal and external risk workshops, to spot contractual exposure early and ensure obligations are passed down to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage the preparation and negotiation of final accounts, performance guarantees and insurance arrangements.
• Uphold anti-bribery and counterparty screening standards in line with company policy and lender expectations.
• Coach project teams on contract management and share lessons learned across projects.

Key Requirements
