Job summary

Mitra Prodin is seeking a CI/Lean Engineer to drive company-wide CI, 5S, and Lean programs on-site in Gianyar, Bali. You will build roadmaps, run improvement events, standardize tools, and audit outcomes to deliver cost savings and safer, higher-quality operations.

The role requires 2–3 years in CI/Lean or 3+ years in production leadership, with a track record of at least 5 CI projects and strong data/AI tool usage. Domestic relocation to Gianyar is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering.
• 2–3 years as CI/Lean Engineer or 3+ years as Production/Operations Supervisor leading improvement projects.
• Track record of at least 5 CI projects.
• Strong command of 5S, SMED, 8D, A3, DMAIC, Poka-Yoke and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive CI strategy with roadmaps, visual management, and daily KPIs.
• Lead Kaizen, SMED, 8D, A3, and DMAIC projects to reduce waste and setup times.
• Standardize and train teams on 5S, Standard Work, Poka-Yoke; run CI trainings; utilize AI tools.
• Track and audit 5S, LPA, ISO compliance; validate savings with Finance.

Job description

Drive company-wide Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement (CI) culture to boost operational efficiency, safety (EHS), quality, and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

Drive CI Strategy: Build CI roadmaps, setup Visual Management boards, and align daily shopfloor KPIs (Tiered Daily Management).

Lead Improvement Projects: Facilitate Kaizen events, SMED, 8D, A3, and DMAIC projects to eliminate waste, remove bottlenecks, and lower setup times.

Standardize & Train: Implement CI toolsets (5S, Standard Work, Poka-Yoke), run CI training campaigns, and utilize AI tools to accelerate improvements.

Track & Audit: Audit 5S, LPA, and ISO compliance, validate project cost savings with Finance, and replicate best practices companywide.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

Experience: 2–3 years as a CI/Lean Engineer OR 3+ years as a Production/Operations Supervisor leading improvement projects.

Track Record: Successfully managed at least 5 CI projects.

Technical Skills: Strong command of 5S, SMED, 8D, A3, DMAIC, Poka-Yoke, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), and data analysis/AI tools.
