Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee civil and industrial construction activities, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedules. You will supervise contractors, monitor progress, and enforce HSE and quality standards on site.

You will coordinate across engineering, planning, procurement, and operations, driving cost control and timely reporting. A Diploma or degree in civil-related fields, 5–8 years’ experience, and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience supervising construction activities in civil, industrial, or mining projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction, drawings, schedules, and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel and AutoCAD; familiarity with project management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities in line with approved drawings, specs, methods, schedules, and quality standards.
• Perform regular inspections and monitor civil works, buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and subcontractors throughout the construction process.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Control utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources.
• Ensure construction quality and address non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Monitor costs and support cost control per project budget.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, HSE, Operations, and Maintenance for smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company standards.
• Prepare and submit progress and site reports, issues, and recommendations.

Job description

This is a Construction Supervisor position responsible for supervising and ensuring construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, work methods, schedules, and quality standards. The role involves conducting regular inspections and monitoring of civil works, buildings, facilities, infrastructure, and other construction activities within the project area, coordinating contractors and subcontractors throughout the construction process, and ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and company standards.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, work methods, schedules, and quality standards

Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of civil works, buildings, facilities, infrastructure, and other construction activities within the project area

Coordinate and supervise contractors and subcontractors throughout the construction process, from preparation through completion

Monitor and evaluate project progress by comparing planned versus actual performance, identifying potential delays, and implementing appropriate corrective actions

Control the utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources to ensure efficient execution and achievement of project targets

Monitor construction quality and identify non-conformities, ensuring that corrective and remedial actions are properly implemented

Monitor and evaluate construction costs and support cost control in accordance with the approved project budget

Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, HSE, Operations, Maintenance, and other related departments to ensure smooth project execution

Ensure all construction activities comply with applicable HSE requirements, company standards, and occupational safety regulations

Prepare and submit progress reports, inspection reports, site issues, and recommendations for corrective actions to the Project Manager or relevant management

About you

Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction, civil works, industrial projects, or mining-related projects

Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor, Civil Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or equivalent supervisory position

Experience in supervising contractors/subcontractors and managing construction activities in the field

Strong knowledge of civil construction, building construction, infrastructure, drainage, concrete works, earthworks, and supporting facilities

Good understanding of engineering drawings, BOQ/RAB, quantity measurement, progress monitoring, method statements, and construction schedules

Strong capability in progress control, cost control, quality control, and field coordination

Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel and AutoCAD; experience with project management software is an advantage

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues in the field

Good leadership, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills

Willing to work on an 8:2 roster schedule
