Job summary

PT Takenaka Indonesia is seeking an experienced Estimator to support building construction projects in Indonesia. The role emphasizes accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications, preparing BOQs and cost estimates, and coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to identify cost risks.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with at least two years’ experience as an estimator or quantity surveyor, strong Excel skills, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in building construction.
• Strong ability to perform quantity take-off, prepare BOQs, conduct unit rate analysis, and prepare cost estimates.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written) for reports and proposals.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with estimating software such as Cubicost or AutoCAD.
• Experience in medium to large-scale building construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity take-off based on drawings and specifications
• Prepare BOQ, unit rate analysis, and cost estimates
• Review architectural, structural and civil drawings
• Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential cost risks
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
