Job summary

PT KMK GLOBAL SPORTS is seeking an experienced Computer Pallet Design Engineer to develop precision CS pallets that improve stitching accuracy, quality and manufacturing efficiency across our footwear production lines.

You will design 2D/3D pallets, calibrate CS machines, translate CAD designs into CNC programs, and lead trials to verify positioning and cycle times. This role partners with Development, IE, Sample Room and Production to scale validated designs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in footwear Computer Pallet Design.
• Strong experience in designing innovative, high-precision CS pallets.
• Proficient in advanced pallet design, programming.
• Knowledge of machine calibration, parameter optimization, and mechanical/software functions.
• Ability to optimize pallet design for accuracy, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design 2D/3D CS pallets: cavity geometry, locator pins, clamps, soft-contact surfaces and modular inserts; explore multi-size and combined lateral/medial concepts.
• Calibrate and align CS machines; configure stitching parameters, verify repeatability and troubleshoot machine–pallet–material interactions.
• Translate CAD designs into CNC router programs; optimize toolpaths, machining tolerances, fit, assembly and pallet fabrication lead time.
• Lead sample trials and production validation; measure positional accuracy, defect rate, cycle time, setup time and pallet cost; document standards.
• Partner with Development, IE, Sample Room (Nest) and Production to scale validated designs and drive continuous improvement.
