Job summary

OttoDigital Group in Jakarta is seeking a Regulatory Compliance and Data Protection Specialist. You will perform AML/CTF, KYC/KYM, CDD and EDD checks, and coordinate official communications with regulators.

You will conduct compliance risk assessments for commercial initiatives and forms, monitor PDP law implementation, and support licenses and audits. Training and record maintenance are also part of the role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform AML/CTF, KYC/KYM, CDD, and EDD checks.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments for projects and forms.
• Maintain regulator correspondence as a registered PIC and monitor regulatory updates.
• Analyze data protection risks, oversee DPIA/RPOA, and liaise on PDP law implementation.
• Support licenses, audits, and ISO certifications; deliver training and awareness programs.
• Maintain compliance data and prepare regulatory reports.

Job description

• Perform AML/CTF, KYC/KYM, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) checks.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments for commercial initiatives, business projects, agreements (PKS), Merchant Request Forms (MRF), and Document Request Forms (DRF).
• Maintain official correspondence and communication with regulators (Bank Indonesia, OJK, and relevant government bodies) as a registered PIC. Proactively monitor, analyze, and advise on regulatory updates and their impact on the company.
• Analyze data protection risks, monitor data processing activities (RPOA & DPIA), ensure policy alignment with data security standards, and serve as Liaison Officer to regulators regarding Personal Data Protection Law implementation.
• Support the team in acquiring activity approvals/licenses from government bodies and assist in processing regulatory audits, risk assessments, and ISO certifications.
• Deliver compliance socialization, training sessions, and awareness programs to foster a continuous culture of regulatory compliance and data protection among employees.
• Keep compliance data updated, prepare data security and regulatory reports, and ensure proper record maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience in regulatory compliance, legal compliance, or data protection.
• Bachelor's degree in any field (a degree in Law is a strong advantage).
• Sound understanding of financial sector regulations (BI, OJK) and Indonesia's Personal Data Protection (PDP) Law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong data management and analytical capabilities.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
• High sense of ownership, responsibility, and strong ethical standards.
• Good team player with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong communication/presentation skills.
