Job summary

OSL is seeking a Compliance Officer in Indonesia to support and strengthen the compliance function. You will work with local management and regional compliance leads to ensure the business operates in accordance with Indonesian laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

This role covers day-to-day compliance operations, regulatory monitoring, cross-team coordination, and maintaining audit-ready documentation at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, or internal audit.
• Experience in crypto exchange is a must.
• Solid understanding of AML/CFT frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Familiar with Indonesian regulators and able to engage with them directly.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Monitoring and Analysis: Track updates from regulators and prepare summaries of key changes and risks.
• Regulatory Implementation: Translate regulations into internal policies, SOPs, and controls; run awareness sessions.
• Regulatory Reporting and Regulator Communication: Map reporting obligations and maintain a calendar; act as main regulator contact.
• AML/CFT and Risk Oversight: Support AML/CFT activities and identify mitigations for risks.
• Internal Coordination and Documentation: Gather data from multiple teams and maintain audit-ready records.

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to support and strengthen our compliance function in Indonesia. You will work closely with the local management team and regional compliance leads to make sure the business runs in line with Indonesian laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. This is an individual contributor role that covers day-to-day compliance operations, regulatory monitoring, cross-team coordination, and keeping documentation audit-ready at all times.

What You Will Do:

Regulatory Monitoring and Analysis

• Track and monitor updates from OJK, Bappebti, CFX, Clearing Houses, Custodians, and other relevant regulators
• Assess how new regulations impact the business and prepare clear summaries covering key changes, company obligations, and compliance risks for the Head of Legal and Compliance

Regulatory Implementation

• Help translate regulatory requirements into internal policies, SOPs, and operational controls
• Prepare internal communications on regulatory updates and run compliance awareness sessions across business teams
• Check that regulatory requirements are being properly followed on an ongoing basis

Regulatory Reporting and Regulator Communication

• Map out all reporting obligations to regulators, whether daily, weekly, monthly, or one-off
• Maintain a reporting calendar with clear internal deadlines
• Collect, review, and submit regulatory reports accurately and on timeAct as the main point of contact for regulator queries, data requests, and communications

AML/CFT and Risk Oversight

• Support AML/CFT, sanctions screening, onboarding, and transaction monitoring activities
• Identify potential compliance and operational risks and recommend steps to fix or reduce them
• Escalate issues to management with clear and practical mitigation recommendations

Internal Coordination and Documentation

• Work with Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations, Product, and IT teams to gather data and resolve compliance-related issues
• Maintain and organise all compliance records, licences, and regulatory submissions so they are always ready for audits or inspections
• Prepare compliance updates and reports for management

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, risk management, or internal audit
• Experience in crypto exchange is a must
• Solid understanding of AML/CFT frameworks, regulatory compliance, and operational controls
• Familiar with Indonesian regulators and comfortable engaging with them directly
• Able to read regulatory text and turn it into practical steps the business can follow
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Good communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-moving environment
• Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and spoken
