Job summary

Shopee is seeking a Growth/Business Analyst to develop data-driven strategies to grow transaction volume and users with better unit economics. You will run growth experiments, feature iterations, and campaign management while collaborating with BD, Marketing, Ops, and Product.

You should have strong Excel and SQL skills, financial modeling, and a keen eye for numbers. The role rewards a fast-paced, energetic team player who can communicate clearly and lead when needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Growth, Demand Management, Strategy & Planning, Business Analyst or similar role in Payments preferred.

• Develop data-driven strategies to grow transaction volume and users with better unit economics through growth experimentation, new feature development, campaign management, crafting merchant acquisition strategy, and competitor analysis.
• Identify and execute new revenue stream opportunities, including research, market analysis, financial modeling, pricing strategy, promotion plan, and implementation planning.
• Produce competitor analysis reports for the management, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
• Proactively initiate ideas through collaborating with Business Development, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to reach overall team goals.

Requirements

• Preferably 1-3 years of working experience in Growth, Demand Management, Strategy & Planning, Business Analyst, Marketing Analyst or similar role experience in the Payments Industry would a plus.
• Must be fluent in Microsoft Excel and have fundamental knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Strong financial modeling, analytical skill, and business acumen, comfortable with numbers.
• Good communication skills and leadership skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
