Job summary

Tripatra seeks an experienced Site Safety Leader for offshore construction, acting as the most senior on-site authority for all vessel activities. You will drive HSSE culture, lead safety leadership, and ensure compliant operations.

You will oversee contractor safety, manage risk, and coordinate with HSSE teams, vessel operators, and stakeholders, with a focus on incident reporting and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Barchelor Degree (S1) in Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of offshore construction and project management experience, including at least 5 years in CVR (Company Vessel Representative).
• Extensive offshore construction and project management experience with senior offshore leadership.

Job Description

• Perform as Company Site Safety Leader, driving safe, efficient, and compliant offshore operations
• Represent the company as the most senior on-site authority for all vessel activities
• Lead and promote a strong HSSE culture, embedding safety leadership and human performance principles
• Provide independent oversight of contractor execution (without directing work)
• Verify effective control of work, risk management, toolbox talks, and procedural discipline
• Oversee safe execution of offshore construction programs in line with approved plans and schedules
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits, consents, and Management of Change (MoC) processes
• Facilitate and oversee ISSOW / WCC processes and Go / No-Go mobilization readiness
• Monitor contractor self-verification and risk barrier effectiveness
• Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, HSSE teams, vessel operators, and project stakeholders
• Lead incident, accident, and emergency reporting and participate in investigations
• Review and approve contractor documentation, reports, and daily progress updates
• Capture, share, and promote lessons learned and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and certification requirements

Job Requirements

• Minimum Barchelor Degree (S1) in Engineering
• Minimum 20 years of offshore construction and project management experience, including at least 5 years in a CVR (Company Vessel Representative).
• Extensive offshore construction and project management experience, including senior offshore leadership (CVR or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of HSSE management, risk assessment, and offshore safety leadership
• Solid knowledge of international offshore standards (IMCA, DNV, ISO, class and certification systems)
• Experience with subsea construction equipment, vessels, ROVs, pipeline and cable installation systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage audit, assurance, and verification processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multicultural teams
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities in offshore environments
