Job summary

PT Maruwai Coal is seeking a Safety & Environmental Supervisor to implement HSE programs in the CHPP area, supervise the operation crew, and ensure safe, efficient production.

The role requires a technical degree and at least 3 years in coal washing or processing plants; a POP certificate is an advantage. You will coordinate with Process & Control, Mining, and Fixed Plant departments, lead safety talks, and enforce PPE usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technical field related to engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in coal washing/processing plants.
• POP certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement Health, Safety and Environmental programs in the CHPP area.
• Supervise the plant operation crew with correct procedures to achieve safe production targets.
• Ensure all shift activities are managed safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Process & Control Engineer, Mining Department and Fixed Plant Departments.
• Conduct weekly safety talks and toolbox talks at shift start and end.
• Ensure PPE is used and maintained properly by all crew.
• Follow Work Procedures or the JSEA.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Technical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

3+ years coal washing/processing plant experience

POP Certificate (advantage)

Job description

Implementing Health, Safety and Environmental program in the CHPP area

Supervise the plant operation crew with correct procedure to achieve safely production target.

Ensure that all activity in shift operation is managed safely, effectively and efficiently.

Coordination with Process & Control Engineer, Mining Department and Fixed Plant Departments reference and guide to operate the plant.

Main Accountabilities :

Conduct safety talk once per week

Conduct toolbox talk every starting shift & at the end of the shift

Ensure all crew use and maintain personnel protection equipment (PPE) correctly

Make sure all activities follow the Work Procedures or the JSEA as provided

Maintain the plant on safe operation and clean condition

Production

Coordinate shift crew to operate the plant to achieve the quality and quantity of the target

Ensure to maximize plant running hours to achieve the target

Make a record of plant condition during operation to identify the area which may require improvement if any.

Leadership & Teamwork

Manage teamwork to provide safe, effective and efficient productivity

Functional Excellence

Manage good relationship with all operators, foreman, another shift supervisor, direct supervisor and other section or department responsible.

Acting for CHPP Section Head in his absence.

Technical & Technology

Review and distribute information which directly effect to the safety and production to foreman and operators

Seeking opportunities to improve plant safety & productivity

Job Qualifications :

S1 / Bachelor's Degree in Technical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience in coal washing plant / processing plant

Having POP Certificate would be an advantage
