Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a full-time CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Batam, Indonesia. The successful candidate will operate and maintain CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. This role requires strong machining skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with one-off or small-batch components.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling and turning machines (experience with Siemens Sinumerik is an advantage)
• Set up tools, fixtures, and materials according to machining requirements
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and engineering specifications
• Perform quality inspections using precision measurement tools (micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with other departments and engineers to resolve machining or technical issues
• Ensure production timelines and quality standards are met
• Follow workshop safety procedures and company operational guidelines

About you

• Experience in CNC machining—both milling and turning
• Familiarity with Siemens Sinumerik, FANUC, Mazak or similar CNC controls
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and measurement instruments
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
• Experience in machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not essential
