Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Manager of the CMP area within the Advanced Technology Engineering team at our Boise, ID site. You will build and develop an elite team to drive new product introduction and ramp at the brand-new memory fab.

You will engage early in development and support through qualification, coordinating with global resources to enable equipment and yield performance to plan, while mentoring engineers and aligning with suppliers and the Technology Development team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years semiconductor industry experience in DRAM, including TD, HVM, or operations-based teams.
• Deep process understanding of CMP.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating a process engineering team (3+ years).
• Experience managing suppliers and establishing supplier accountability programs.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing team structures, standards, and processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of highly capable process engineers.
• Support the qualification of a new innovative processing facility.
• Provide regular feedback to your team members on performance and career development.
• Engage with suppliers to develop the process and equipment needed to meet Micron’s technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with the Technology Development team to ensure successful transfer and ramp of product yield and quality.
• Engage with other Manufacturing teams and lead worldwide alignment efforts.
