Job summary

Ajaib Group is seeking a systems-native leader to evolve our cloud infrastructure into a self-healing, regulator-ready environment. You will oversee governance, resilience, and security for our digital banking cloud platform, with a focus on availability and compliance.

You will lead a 7–10 person DevOps/SRE team, drive incident response, and own reliability metrics while collaborating across product and engineering teams to scale safely and securely.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of DevOps and SRE methodologies, CI/CD optimization, and automated incident response.
• Experience in large-scale cloud strategies (GCP, AWS) and microservices architecture.
• 10+ years in IT with at least 5 years in formal leadership in financial services or banking.
• Proficient with container platforms (Docker/K8s) and middleware/databases such as Kafka, Redis, MySQL.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to bridge development, operations, and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee governance and resilience of digital banking cloud infrastructure and ensure high availability.
• Lead response to production faults and coordinate across teams to reduce MTTR.
• Enforce security policies and regulatory compliance for data storage and cloud deployments.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a 7–10 person DevOps/SRE team and foster innovation.
